Third-party platform compliance (YouTube, Twitch, OBS, etc.) is the user's exclusive responsibility.

NOTICE —These policies apply to all past, present, and future use of GV Cricket — including all matches created, scored, hosted, or accessed at any time before or after the effective date shown above. Accessing any GV Cricket match link, result page, spectator page, overlay, or resource at any time constitutes acceptance of the then-current policies. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease all access to GV Cricket and all GV Cricket pages and links.
GV Cricket™℠ is a proprietary trademark and service mark of the operator. The GV Cricket app, software, and scoring tool (collectively referred to as GV Cricket) are provided by the operator on a free, as-is basis without warranty of any kind. All use of GV Cricket is subject to the following binding policy framework, which constitutes one integrated legal agreement. By accessing or using GV Cricket in any capacity, you agree to be bound by all documents listed below.
1.Terms of Service — governs all access to and use of GV Cricket, including match creation, scoring, overlays, audio tools, image uploads, result pages, shared public links, operator responsibilities, content permissions, aggregate statistics, geographic compliance, dispute resolution, mandatory arbitration, class-action waiver, Delaware governing law, indemnification, limitation of liability, and disclaimers.
2.Privacy Policy — explains what personal data GV Cricket collects (match data, optional location, uploaded media, contact submissions, and technical usage data), how it is used, who it is shared with, how long it is retained, what rights you have, and how to exercise those rights.
3.Data & Safety Disclosure — a plain-language summary of GV Cricket's data-handling practices for match operators, players, and app-store transparency requirements, covering data categories, sharing practices, retention, children and youth data, and how to request deletion or correction.
4.Copyright & Content Policy — explains GV Cricket's intellectual-property and proprietary trademark rights, user content ownership and licensing, DMCA safe-harbour notice and takedown procedures, counter-notification process, audio and sound-effect licensing obligations, transient storage rules, and no-clearance-by-upload disclaimer.
5.Image Upload Policy — governs all Images submitted to GV Cricket, including uploader representations and warranties, prohibited content, transient storage and non-archival rules, public-visibility risks, pre-upload checklist, GV Cricket moderation rights, and image indemnification obligations.

GV Cricket as a software tool — not a governing body
GV Cricket is a cricket scoring and display software tool. It is not a cricket governing body, an official scorer, an arbitration authority, a licensed broadcast service, an emergency service, an insurance provider, a financial institution, or a professional-advice platform. Nothing in GV Cricket's app, policies, output, scores, overlays, weather displays, timestamps, announcements, or generated content constitutes legal advice, medical advice, safety clearance, eligibility determination, insurance cover, financial advice, or an official match result.

Third-party platform compliance — user's sole responsibility
GV Cricket's features may be used in connection with third-party streaming platforms, social networks, video services, browser-source software, cloud services, overlay tools, and mobile broadcast applications. The use of such third-party platforms, tools, and services is the user's sole responsibility. By using GV Cricket in conjunction with any third-party platform, you represent that you have read, understood, and will comply with that platform's terms of service, developer policies, content policies, community guidelines, copyright policies, music licensing rules, data policies, and any other applicable rules.
1.GV Cricket is not affiliated with, endorsed by, licensed by, authorized by, sponsored by, or officially partnered with any streaming platform, social network, video service, mobile broadcast application, or overlay tool, unless GV Cricket expressly confirms that relationship in writing.
2.You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of GV Cricket's overlays, browser sources, score feeds, image uploads, live audio, sound effects, walkie-talkie features, and announcements complies with the developer policies, content rules, music-licensing requirements, copyright policies, and broadcast terms of every platform on which you use or publish GV Cricket content.
3.GV Cricket expressly disclaims all liability for stream bans, content-identification claims, copyright strikes, account terminations, demonetization, channel suspensions, DMCA notices, platform violations, or any other adverse action taken by a third-party platform in connection with your use of GV Cricket.
4.GV Cricket does not grant broadcast rights, rebroadcast rights, music performance rights, footage rights, league data rights, player-image rights, publicity rights, venue rights, sponsor rights, or platform developer rights, and does not guarantee that any third-party platform will accept, display, monetize, preserve, or permit a GV Cricket overlay or score feed.

User and operator responsibility — master summary
By using GV Cricket in any capacity — as a match creator, scorer, umpire, director, spectator, streamer, organizer, team administrator, school representative, club official, league administrator, or any other role — you accept the following responsibilities in full.
1.You are solely responsible for all content you enter, upload, share, stream, broadcast, record, or publish through GV Cricket, including match names, team names, player names, locations, images, logos, audio, stream links, overlays, and announcements.
2.You are solely responsible for obtaining all rights, licenses, permissions, consents, and authorizations required for every element of content you submit or use in connection with GV Cricket, including photography rights, image rights, music rights, performance rights, player consent, school consent, venue consent, and sponsor authorization.
3.You are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, school rules, club rules, league rules, venue rules, privacy laws, child-safety laws, copyright laws, trademark laws, broadcasting regulations, platform terms, and data-protection obligations that govern your event, location, content, and use of GV Cricket.
4.You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all scores, calculations, player statistics, results, overlays, and outputs generated by GV Cricket before treating, publishing, or presenting them as official.
5.You are solely responsible for the safety, welfare, and legal compliance of your event, venue, players, spectators, organizers, umpires, scorers, and streaming setup. GV Cricket is a software tool only, and its use does not transfer any duty of care, safeguarding obligation, venue responsibility, insurance obligation, or organizational duty from you to GV Cricket.
6.You are solely responsible for keeping independent records, backups, and copies of all match data, images, results, rosters, and documentation. GV Cricket's transient storage is not a guaranteed archive.
7.You are solely responsible for the security and confidentiality of all match edit links, director access links, PINs, device access, browser sessions, and operator controls you create, share, or manage.
8.You are solely responsible for any person or entity to whom you grant access to match controls, edit links, director consoles, image uploads, overlay controls, or audio tools. All actions performed using access you create or share are your responsibility.

Assumption of risk
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you assume all risks arising from your decisions to use GV Cricket, including decisions about what content to enter, what locations to disclose, what images to upload, what audio to play, what links to share, what streams to broadcast, what third-party platforms to use, and whom to authorize as a match operator. You release GV Cricket and its operator, personnel, contractors, and infrastructure providers from all claims, losses, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to those decisions.

Indemnification — all uses
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold GV Cricket and its operator, personnel, contractors, and infrastructure providers harmless from and against all third-party claims, liabilities, judgments, damages, penalties, costs, and reasonable legal expenses arising from: (a) your use of GV Cricket; (b) your content, uploads, streams, broadcasts, and match data; (c) your breach of any representation, warranty, or obligation in these policies; (d) your violation of any applicable law, regulation, school rule, league rule, venue rule, platform term, or third-party right; (e) your failure to obtain required permissions, consents, licenses, or authorizations; or (f) the acts or omissions of any person to whom you have granted access to match controls, links, or operator features.

Aggregate statistics and worldwide activity data
1.Creating a match session, including saving a draft, may contribute one non-identifying event to GV Cricket's cumulative worldwide statistics. This count is not duplicated when the same session is later edited or scored.
2.Aggregate statistics are non-identifying product metrics only. They do not publish private match links, PINs, player names, team names, scores, or exact GPS coordinates.
3.The 'Total Players' figure is a cumulative count of roster places across all matches — not a count of unique individuals, verified accounts, registered users, or currently active participants. The same person may be counted in multiple matches.
4.The 'Total Balls' figure is calculated from operator-selected overs and innings and represents scheduled scoring capacity, not a verified count of deliveries bowled. Shortened or unfinished matches do not reduce the lifetime total.
5.Country and regional totals reflect user-provided location labels or feature-derived estimates. They indicate aggregate app activity and do not verify citizenship, residency, official representation, or current live play.
6.Aggregate cumulative totals are retained even after the underlying match session is deleted. An all-time total may not decrease following individual session deletion.

No liability — YouTube, streaming platforms, and broadcast consequences
GV Cricket is a cricket scoring and display software tool. It is not a licensed broadcaster, streaming platform, content clearance house, platform developer partner, or rights licensing authority. The following disclaimers apply absolutely and unconditionally.
1.GV Cricket is not responsible for and expressly disclaims all liability for any YouTube copyright claim, YouTube Content ID match, YouTube takedown notice, YouTube channel strike, YouTube channel suspension or termination, YouTube demonetization, Twitch DMCA notice or channel ban, Facebook or Instagram copyright enforcement action, TikTok copyright strike, Kick platform enforcement, X (formerly Twitter) DMCA notice, or any equivalent copyright, content, or community-guidelines enforcement action taken by any streaming, social, or video platform arising from your use of GV Cricket.
2.GV Cricket is not responsible for any audio muting, video muting, stream interruption, stream ban, stream termination, account restriction, account suspension, account termination, content removal, revenue clawback, revenue reversal, monetization restriction, or advertising block imposed by any streaming or social platform in connection with any broadcast or stream in which GV Cricket was used in any capacity.
3.GV Cricket does not obtain, provide, or guarantee any music license, synchronization license, master-use license, broadcast license, public performance license, streaming license, or platform developer license. You must independently secure all such licenses before broadcasting or streaming any audio, music, commentary, or visual content in connection with GV Cricket.
4.GV Cricket is not responsible for and expressly disclaims all liability for any action, decision, or omission by Google LLC, Alphabet Inc., YouTube LLC, Meta Platforms Inc., ByteDance Ltd., TikTok Inc., X Corp., Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare, Akamai Technologies, or any other technology company, search engine, infrastructure provider, content delivery network, or digital platform, in connection with content published, indexed, cached, removed, restricted, or penalized in connection with GV Cricket.

No liability — Google Search, caching, and search-engine indexing
1.GV Cricket may serve publicly accessible match pages, result pages, and shared score links. Once a link is shared publicly, search engines including Google Search, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Yahoo, Baidu, Yandex, and others may independently discover, crawl, index, cache, summarize, and display the content of those pages without GV Cricket's instruction or control.
2.GV Cricket is not responsible for and expressly disclaims all liability for any search-engine indexing, caching, snippet creation, AI-generated summary, Google Knowledge Panel entry, featured snippet, image search result, or other search-engine representation of any GV Cricket page, match, player name, or result.
3.Deleting a match, image, or result page within GV Cricket does not guarantee removal of Google's cached copy, Bing's cached copy, or any other search-engine or AI-generated cache, index entry, or snippet. Cache removal must be requested directly from the relevant search engine using its own processes. GV Cricket has no obligation to request or facilitate such removal.

No liability — defamation, libel, and user-generated content
1.GV Cricket is a neutral software tool. It does not create, author, endorse, verify, review, approve, adopt, or republish any match name, team name, player name, score, result, announcement, match note, image, audio, overlay, or other content entered or uploaded by any user, operator, scorer, organizer, or third party.
2.GV Cricket expressly disclaims all liability for any defamation claim, libel claim, slander claim, false-light claim, harassment claim, privacy invasion claim, personality rights claim, reputation claim, malicious falsehood claim, injurious falsehood claim, product disparagement claim, or any equivalent or analogous claim under any country's law, arising from content entered, uploaded, published, shared, streamed, or broadcast using GV Cricket by any user, operator, scorer, or third party.
3.GV Cricket is not a news organization, media outlet, sports broadcaster, official scoring authority, governing body, or content publisher. Any player name, team name, score, statistic, result, announcement, or detail displayed through GV Cricket reflects only what the match operator or scorer entered. GV Cricket makes no representation as to the accuracy, fairness, or lawfulness of user-entered content.
4.If a third party alleges that content entered into GV Cricket is defamatory, harassing, false, misleading, or otherwise unlawful, the user or operator who entered that content is solely responsible for all defence costs, judgments, settlements, regulatory penalties, and consequences of that claim. GV Cricket has no obligation to investigate, adjudicate, or bear any part of such a claim.

No liability — third-party sharing, reposting, and redistribution
1.Once a match link, result page, spectator page, overlay, or share image is distributed by a user or operator, GV Cricket has no control over how that content is subsequently shared, reposted, screenshot, downloaded, redistributed, embedded, broadcast, quoted, described, satirized, criticized, reviewed, or used by any third party.
2.GV Cricket is not responsible for and expressly disclaims all liability for any claim, loss, damage, or consequence arising from the acts or omissions of third parties who access, share, repost, download, republish, embed, quote, broadcast, mock, parody, criticize, or otherwise use content originally published through a link, page, or image connected to GV Cricket.
3.GV Cricket does not endorse, sponsor, authorize, or approve any third-party repost, rebroadcast, screenshot, recording, article, commentary, review, podcast, video, or other representation of GV Cricket content, match data, or user-generated material.

Limitation of liability — global cap
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GV Cricket's total aggregate liability to you for all claims of any kind arising from or relating to GV Cricket shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you actually paid directly to GV Cricket in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ten United States dollars (USD $10.00). If you used GV Cricket without payment, the amount in clause (a) is zero dollars. This cap applies regardless of the legal theory, the form of the claim, or whether GV Cricket was advised of the possibility of such damages, and does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Legal request routing
All legal, privacy, copyright, abuse, safety, security, and law-enforcement requests must be submitted through the Contact Page (https://gvcricket.com/contact). See the Legal Contact page for a full list of required information for each request type. A social-media message, public comment, or informal message is not formal legal notice to GV Cricket.
GV Cricket may update any policy at any time for product, legal, security, regulatory, provider, or operational reasons. Updated policies are published through the app. Material changes apply prospectively after reasonable notice where notice is reasonably available. Continued use of GV Cricket after updated policies are presented constitutes acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree to any updated policy, you must stop using GV Cricket.

Retroactive applicability — all past matches and prior use
These policies apply to all use of GV Cricket — past, present, and future. This includes all matches created, scored, hosted, accessed, or linked at any time before or after the effective date of these policies, all images uploaded and links shared before or after the effective date, all streams broadcast, all audio played, all results published, all overlays served, and all interactions made at any time using GV Cricket in any capacity. The operator's policy framework has applied continuously from the moment GV Cricket was made available. The current consolidated policies supersede all prior versions, notices, and representations. By accessing any existing GV Cricket match page, result page, spectator page, overlay, or shared link, you agree to these policies in full.

Developer and operator protection — software provider shield
GV Cricket is developed, maintained, and operated by independent software developers and a small operator team. The following protections apply unconditionally to shield the developers, operators, and contributors of GV Cricket from all third-party claims.
1.GV Cricket and its developers, operators, contractors, and contributors are not parties to any match, event, tournament, league, school activity, or club event conducted using GV Cricket. They are neutral software providers only.
2.GV Cricket and its developers, operators, contractors, and contributors do not exercise editorial control over any user-entered content, match data, player names, team names, images, audio, stream links, announcements, overlays, or results. GV Cricket is a platform, not a publisher.
3.GV Cricket and its developers, operators, contractors, and contributors do not attend, supervise, officiate, certify, insure, organize, fund, promote, or take any part in any match, event, venue, or activity in which GV Cricket is used. All responsibility for the match, the event, and all connected activities remains exclusively with the match operator and organizer.
4.GV Cricket and its developers, operators, contractors, and contributors are not responsible for, and are hereby fully, unconditionally, and irrevocably released and discharged from, all claims, demands, actions, losses, damages, injuries, liabilities, judgments, fines, penalties, costs, and expenses of any kind or nature — whether in tort, contract, statute, strict liability, equity, or otherwise — arising from any user's use of or reliance on GV Cricket, or from any content entered, uploaded, shared, or streamed by any user, operator, scorer, organizer, or third party.
5.GV Cricket and its developers, operators, contractors, and contributors are not licensed attorneys, solicitors, barristers, medical professionals, financial advisers, insurance brokers, safeguarding authorities, cricket governing bodies, sports officials, broadcasting authorities, or emergency services. Nothing they create, publish, or communicate constitutes professional advice.
6.Where applicable law provides any immunity, safe harbour, or limitation of liability for software providers, platform operators, internet intermediaries, hosting providers, or neutral passive conduits — including but not limited to Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (United States), Regulation 19 of the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 (United Kingdom), Article 14 of the EU Directive 2000/31/EC (E-Commerce Directive), Section 79 of the Information Technology Act 2000 (India), and equivalent provisions in other jurisdictions — GV Cricket and its developers, operators, contractors, and contributors hereby assert and reserve all such immunity, safe harbour, and limitation to the fullest extent available.
7.GV Cricket and its developers, operators, contractors, and contributors shall not be required to indemnify, defend, compensate, or contribute to the resolution of any third-party claim arising from a user's or operator's content, conduct, match, event, stream, broadcast, image upload, audio use, or failure to comply with applicable law.

International law — jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction coverage
GV Cricket is accessible internationally. The following section identifies key legal frameworks across major cricket-playing and user jurisdictions. This list is illustrative only and does not constitute legal advice. Users in every jurisdiction are solely responsible for compliance with the laws applicable to them.
1.United States: Users must comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) for children under 13; the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) for California residents; the Video Privacy Protection Act; state-level biometric privacy laws (Illinois BIPA, Texas CUBI, Washington MY Health MY Data); CAN-SPAM; the Electronic Communications Privacy Act; and applicable FTC regulations. GV Cricket does not sell personal data, does not collect biometric identifiers, and does not target children. Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act shields GV Cricket from liability for third-party content.
2.European Union and EEA: Users and operators who process personal data of EU/EEA residents must ensure a lawful basis under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR Regulation EU 2016/679), comply with data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection, restriction), honor children's data protections under Article 8, and not transfer personal data outside the EEA without an appropriate transfer mechanism. GV Cricket processes minimal personal data and does not act as a data processor for user-entered match content. Users who input personal data of EU/EEA residents act as independent data controllers and are solely responsible for their own GDPR compliance.
3.United Kingdom: Users must comply with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, the Age Appropriate Design Code (Children's Code), the Online Safety Act 2023, the Computer Misuse Act 1990, and applicable ICO guidance. GV Cricket's data minimization approach supports UK GDPR compliance. Users are solely responsible for any UK GDPR obligations arising from their use of GV Cricket.
4.India: Users must comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPB), the Information Technology Act 2000 and its Rules (especially the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules 2011), the Copyright Act 1957, and applicable rules of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) or other governing bodies. GV Cricket is not affiliated with the BCCI or any Indian cricket body. Use of GV Cricket to process sensitive personal data of Indian residents is the sole responsibility of the user.
5.Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Nepal: Users must comply with applicable national cybercrime, privacy, media, data, public-order, and sports-governing-body laws. In Pakistan, the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 and Personal Data Protection Bill may apply. Users are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable national laws.
6.Australia and New Zealand: Users must comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ), the Children's Online Privacy Codes, applicable state-level surveillance and photography laws, and rules of Cricket Australia or New Zealand Cricket where applicable. GV Cricket is not affiliated with Cricket Australia or New Zealand Cricket. Users are solely responsible for their own compliance.
7.Canada: Users must comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), provincial privacy legislation (PIPA Alberta, PIPA British Columbia, Quebec Law 25), Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), the Youth Criminal Justice Act (for data involving minors), and applicable Cricket Canada rules. GV Cricket is not affiliated with Cricket Canada. Users are solely responsible for their own compliance.
8.South Africa: Users must comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and applicable Cricket South Africa rules. GV Cricket is not affiliated with Cricket South Africa. Users are solely responsible for their own compliance.
9.United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia: Users must comply with applicable national data-protection laws (UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection, Saudi PDPL), cybercrime laws, media and broadcast regulations, photography and filming laws, Islamic personal-status considerations, and national sports-body rules. GV Cricket is not affiliated with any Gulf or Middle East cricket authority. Users are solely responsible for their own compliance.
10.West Indies and Caribbean territories: Users must comply with applicable national privacy, child-protection, cybercrime, media, and sports laws of their specific territory, and any applicable rules of Cricket West Indies or a national cricket board. GV Cricket is not affiliated with Cricket West Indies or any Caribbean cricket authority.
11.Zimbabwe, Kenya, Uganda, Namibia, and other African cricket-playing nations: Users must comply with applicable national data-protection, cybercrime, media, photography, child-protection, and sports-organization laws. GV Cricket is not affiliated with any African cricket board or the International Cricket Council.
12.International Cricket Council (ICC) and all member boards: GV Cricket is not affiliated with, endorsed by, licensed by, or authorized by the International Cricket Council, any ICC member board, any national cricket federation, any state or district association, any school cricket association, any club or league, or any competition organizer. Results, scores, player names, and match details entered into GV Cricket are not official ICC or member-board records.
13.All jurisdictions: Where GV Cricket is accessible and used, and regardless of the user's country, GV Cricket and its developers, operators, contractors, and contributors are protected by the limitation of liability, indemnification, assumption of risk, and dispute resolution provisions in the Terms of Service. Users in all jurisdictions are solely responsible for their own legal compliance. GV Cricket does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee that use of GV Cricket is lawful in any particular jurisdiction.

Open source, third-party software, and infrastructure
GV Cricket is built using third-party open-source software, frameworks, libraries, and infrastructure services. The use of such components does not create any affiliation with, endorsement by, or partnership with the authors or maintainers of those components. Third-party software is licensed separately under its own respective licenses. GV Cricket is not responsible for any defect, security vulnerability, incompatibility, data loss, or liability arising from third-party software, open-source components, or infrastructure services. Any known or discovered vulnerability in a third-party component used by GV Cricket should be reported responsibly through the security disclosure process described in the Legal Contact page.

Accessibility disclaimer
GV Cricket makes reasonable efforts to ensure its match pages, result pages, overlays, and scoring tools are accessible to users with disabilities. However, GV Cricket does not warrant that any feature of the app meets any particular accessibility standard, guideline, or regulation, including WCAG 2.1, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Equality Act 2010 (UK), or equivalent accessibility laws in other jurisdictions. Users requiring specific accessibility accommodations for an official match, school event, venue, or regulated activity should independently verify whether GV Cricket meets any applicable accessibility requirement before relying on it for that purpose.

Payment, monetization, and commercial use
GV Cricket currently provides its core scoring, overlay, and display features without charge. GV Cricket does not process payments, store payment card data, or collect financial information. If commercial features, premium plans, or paid integrations are introduced in the future, they will be governed by additional payment terms published at that time.
