This policy explains how GV Cricket uses cookies and similar technologies on gvcricket.com. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels, analytics scripts, embedded-service storage, browser identifiers, and software-development-kit storage. It should be read with the Privacy Policy, Data & Safety disclosure, and Terms of Service.

Strictly necessary access cookies
GV Cricket uses the following first-party access cookies because requested match, scoring, draft, and director functions cannot operate securely without them. They are not used for advertising.
1.gv_draft_<session-id>: authorizes access to a specific match-creation draft through its API path. It is HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, Secure in production, and expires after 32 hours unless removed earlier.
2.gv_match_access_<match-id>: maintains authorized match or umpire access. It is HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict, Secure in production, and expires after 7 days unless access is revoked or the cookie is removed earlier.
3.gv_director_access: maintains authorized Director Mode access for the selected session. It is HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict, Secure in production, and expires after 12 hours unless access is revoked or the cookie is removed earlier.
4.Hosting, security, and delivery infrastructure may apply additional strictly necessary cookies or request identifiers to deliver the site, route traffic, prevent abuse, and maintain security. Those technologies are controlled by the relevant provider and may change as infrastructure changes.

Strictly necessary browser storage
1.GV Cricket uses localStorage and sessionStorage for match-creation drafts, team and player selections, scoring preferences, authorized-tab state, navigation state, live-banner state, and other continuity controls you request.
2.An already-open umpire screen may store a credential-free match snapshot, device identifier, sequence information, and an ordered queue of unsynchronized scoring actions so scoring can continue during a temporary connection interruption and synchronize after reconnection. The recovery snapshot does not store the match PIN.
3.The cookie-consent decision is stored in localStorage under gv-cookie-consent-v1 so GV Cricket can remember whether optional analytics were accepted or rejected.
4.sessionStorage normally lasts for the current browser tab or session. localStorage normally remains until the relevant key is replaced, the app removes it, or you clear site data. Browsers, private modes, storage quotas, and device settings may shorten either period.
5.Blocking or clearing necessary browser storage can remove unsynchronized scoring actions, drafts, preferences, or access state and may prevent core features from working correctly.

Optional analytics
1.Optional analytics are disabled by default and do not load until you select Accept in the consent banner. Rejecting optional analytics does not disable match creation, scoring, offline recovery, overlays, or settings.
2.When configured and accepted, GV Cricket may use Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics to understand page usage, device and browser categories, interactions, performance, and errors. GV Cricket does not use these tools to sell personal data or build advertising profiles.
3.Google Analytics may use _ga and _ga_<container-id> cookies. Google's documented default expiration for these cookies is 2 years, although browser limits, provider settings, consent withdrawal, or clearing site data may shorten that period.
4.Analytics availability, identifiers, cookie names, and retention may change when a provider changes its service. The current consent choice continues to control whether GV Cricket loads optional analytics through its application.

Third-party embeds and integrations
1.YouTube or YouTube privacy-enhanced embeds may receive ordinary network data and may use storage when you load or interact with a video. YouTube applies its own terms and privacy practices.
2.Agora processes real-time audio, channel identifiers, participant or device identifiers, signaling data, and connection information when an authorized user enables live microphone or walkie-talkie features. Provider SDKs may use device or browser storage needed to maintain the connection.
3.Other providers used for hosting, image delivery, email, maps, weather, analytics, or security may receive ordinary request data and use necessary technologies under their own policies when you initiate the relevant feature.
4.GV Cricket cannot remove cookies or storage placed by a third-party site after you leave GV Cricket or interact directly with that third party. Use the third party's controls and your browser settings for those technologies.

Consent and browser privacy signals
1.The consent banner provides equally available Accept and Reject controls for optional analytics. No optional analytics are loaded before an affirmative acceptance decision.
2.GV Cricket detects the browser's Global Privacy Control signal and identifies it in the consent experience. GV Cricket does not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because optional analytics already require affirmative consent, you may reject them directly when the signal is shown.
3.Withdrawing consent does not automatically erase analytics data that a provider lawfully processed before withdrawal. It prevents GV Cricket from loading optional analytics on later eligible page views after the updated decision is recorded.

Manage or delete storage
1.Use Cookie Settings in the site footer or the cookie settings control on eligible pages to clear the stored consent choice and show the banner again.
2.Use your browser's privacy or site-data settings to inspect, block, or delete cookies, localStorage, and sessionStorage. Browser instructions vary by browser and device.
3.Clearing all site data also removes necessary access and continuity data. Finish or synchronize any active scoring work first, save independent records, and expect to re-enter access details afterward.
1.HttpOnly access cookies cannot be read by ordinary client-side JavaScript. Secure cookies are used in production, and SameSite restrictions help reduce cross-site misuse.
2.GV Cricket retains each technology only for its stated function, the listed duration, or as otherwise required for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, dispute handling, and technical integrity.
3.GV Cricket may update this policy when features, providers, cookie names, storage purposes, retention, law, or consent controls change. The shared policy effective date is not changed by a clarification that does not materially alter user rights.

Cookie and privacy questions
For a cookie, storage, analytics-consent, or privacy question, submit a request through the Contact Page and identify the page, browser, device, technology, and action involved. Do not include a match PIN, access token, medical record, or unrelated sensitive information.
