Uploaded images may be compressed and sent to a third-party image host; GV Cricket keeps compact references and does not provide permanent image archiving.
GV Cricket does not sell personal data to third parties.

NOTICE —This Privacy Policy applies to all past, present, and future processing of personal data in connection with GV Cricket, including all matches created, scored, or accessed at any time before or after the effective date shown above. GV Cricket does not operate a permanent data archive. All match data, images, and related information are held on a transient basis only. GV Cricket is not responsible for personal data entered into match fields by any operator, scorer, or organizer. You are solely responsible for your own compliance with applicable privacy and data-protection law when using GV Cricket.
This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected, submitted, entered, or inferred when you access, use, or interact with the GV Cricket app, GV Cricket software, or GV Cricket scoring tool (referred to as GV Cricket, the app, the software, we, us, or our), including match pages, result pages, overlays, director console, spectator links, shared public links, image uploads, audio tools, contact forms, and cookie interactions. It does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, or services linked from GV Cricket, which are governed by their own privacy policies.

Information GV Cricket collects
1.Match data you enter, including match name, teams, overs, player names, roster details, scoring events, inning details, match dates, announcements, and final results.
2.Match configuration you select, including Full Scorecard or Simple scoring, Single Batter Mode, active batter, runner and bowler selections, and related operator controls. Some configuration is stored with the match, while device-specific preferences such as Auto Scroll may be retained in browser storage.
3.Location data you choose to provide, which may include a typed location label, country selection, GPS latitude and longitude (only if you explicitly grant browser GPS permission), or an approximate location inferred from your IP address for technical operations such as time-zone suggestion and regional matching.
4.Media uploads you provide, including match cover images, team graphics, and files submitted through image upload tools. Compatible browsers may resize, compress, or re-encode an image before upload. The image is forwarded through GV Cricket's application infrastructure to a third-party image host, currently ImgBB, while GV Cricket's primary match database is intended to retain compact references and metadata rather than the image file after a successful remote upload.
5.Live communications and audio data you choose to transmit: when an authorized user enables a live microphone, loudspeaker, or walkie-talkie feature, GV Cricket and its real-time communications provider, currently Agora, process the microphone audio stream, match channel, participant or device identifier, role, connection data, and signaling controls needed to connect permitted participants. Other participants in that channel can hear transmitted audio.
6.Contact and support data you provide when submitting a support request, accessibility or disability-support request, privacy request, takedown notice, or legal inquiry through the Contact Page (https://gvcricket.com/contact), such as your name, email address, the nature of your request, and supporting details. An accessibility request may include device, browser, assistive-technology, preferred-format, or disability-related information you voluntarily choose to provide.
7.Usage and technical data collected automatically, which may include browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, interactions with match or result pages, session timestamps, error logs, and IP address. Where analytics cookies are accepted, aggregated usage signals may be collected to help GV Cricket understand how the app is used.
8.Cookie and storage data: GV Cricket uses strictly necessary cookies and browser local storage to allow the app to function, remember operator state, and maintain scoring session continuity. Optional analytics cookies are off by default and are only set if you accept them through the cookie consent banner. See the Cookies section below for full details.

Information GV Cricket does not collect
1.GV Cricket does not require account registration, username creation, or password entry to use core scoring features.
2.GV Cricket does not intentionally collect payment information, credit card numbers, bank account details, or financial data.
3.GV Cricket does not intentionally collect sensitive personal data categories such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, health data, disability or accommodation details, or data about a person's sex life or sexual orientation, unless that information is voluntarily and clearly entered by a user into a free-text field or accessibility-support request. Do not provide medical records or more sensitive information than is necessary.
4.GV Cricket does not systematically collect verified identity documents, government-issued IDs, passport numbers, national insurance numbers, or social security numbers.
5.GV Cricket does not intentionally record or create a permanent archive of live microphone or walkie-talkie audio. Audio is intended to be transmitted in real time. The communications provider, browser, device, network operator, or a receiving participant may still process connection logs or independently record, capture, or retain audio outside GV Cricket's control.

How GV Cricket uses information
1.To operate, display, and maintain match pages, result pages, overlays, spectator links, director tools, scoring tools, and audio tools.
2.To establish authorized live-audio and walkie-talkie channels, issue short-lived connection credentials, transmit microphone audio, coordinate speaking controls, and diagnose connection or permission failures.
3.To apply the match type, player mode, active lineup, automatic controls, and other scoring settings selected by the match operator.
4.To generate, display, and update live score links, result summaries, match galleries, and statistical aggregates.
6.To respond to support, accessibility, disability-accommodation, privacy, takedown, legal, and safety requests submitted through the Contact Page.
7.To send email or in-app notices relating to significant policy changes, security events, or legal process when reasonably necessary and contact details are available.
8.To comply with applicable laws, court orders, regulatory requirements, legitimate legal process, and safety-related legal obligations.
9.To generate and display non-identifying aggregate statistics about global match activity, such as total matches created, total players counted, total balls calculated, and approximate regional distribution — without publishing private match details, user identities, exact GPS coordinates, or personal data.

Transient image and data storage
1.GV Cricket is a transient software tool and does not operate a permanent image archive, cloud storage vault, or data warehouse. Uploaded images, match cover graphics, scoring records, and other match assets are retained on a temporary, transient basis only.
2.GV Cricket may delete, compress, overwrite, or restrict any image, match record, or data entry at any time, without notice, for server optimization, policy compliance, stale-data cleanup, technical changes, or content moderation.
3.You are solely responsible for maintaining independent offline copies, records, and backups of all match data, images, rosters, and results. GV Cricket is fully and unconditionally released from all liability, claims, losses, and damages of any kind arising from the loss, corruption, deletion, restriction, or unavailability of any data or media processed by the platform.

Lawful basis for processing
1.Where required by law (including the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation and similar frameworks), GV Cricket processes personal data on the following bases, depending on the context: (a) Performance of a contract or steps taken at your request — to operate match scoring, overlays, links, and app functions you initiate; (b) Legitimate interests — to maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, improve stability, and generate aggregate statistics; (c) Compliance with a legal obligation — to respond to legal process, court orders, regulatory requirements, and safety obligations; (d) Consent — for optional analytics cookies and, where required by applicable law, for other non-essential data processing.
2.If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction with equivalent requirements, you have the right to object to or withdraw consent for processing at any time in relation to consent-based or legitimate-interests-based processing.

Image upload and delivery workflow
1.When you upload an image, you direct and authorize GV Cricket to transmit the image and necessary request information through its hosting infrastructure to the current third-party image-hosting provider. Vercel may process the upload in transit, but it is not used by GV Cricket as the permanent image-file store.
2.The third-party image host, currently ImgBB, receives and stores the uploaded file under its own terms and privacy policy. ImgBB's terms are available at https://imgbb.com/tos and its privacy policy at https://imgbb.com/privacy.
3.GV Cricket may retain a compact, protected or hashed provider reference, image metadata, and an indicator that a match or session has images. GV Cricket may use signed proxy URLs, caches, image optimization, and lazy loading to retrieve and display the remotely hosted image.
4.Public image delivery can disclose ordinary network information, such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, timestamp, and referrer, to the infrastructure or image provider involved in serving the request, subject to their respective policies.
5.If the provider removes, blocks, changes, limits, or cannot serve an image, GV Cricket may show a placeholder or no image. Removing a GV Cricket reference does not guarantee immediate deletion from provider systems, caches, backups, browsers, search engines, or third-party copies.

Cookies and browser storage
1.Strictly necessary cookies and local browser storage are set automatically when you use GV Cricket. These allow scoring sessions, operator state, match access controls, and device preferences such as automatic scoring-screen controls to function. You cannot disable these without breaking app functionality.
2.For umpire scoring, strictly necessary local or session storage may temporarily hold a credential-free match snapshot and unsynchronized scoring actions so an already-open scoring screen can continue through a dropped or unstable connection and submit those actions in order after reconnection. The cached match snapshot does not store the match PIN.
3.Analytics cookies are off by default. They are only activated if you affirmatively accept them through the cookie consent banner. If you reject analytics cookies, no analytics cookie is set.
4.Accepting or rejecting optional analytics does not enable or disable essential scoring storage or offline recovery. Clearing site data, using a browser mode that blocks storage, exhausting the device's storage quota, or closing a tab after the app warns that actions could not be persisted may remove the device's unsynchronized recovery copy.
5.The cookie consent banner appears on eligible pages — such as marketing, setup, and results pages. On active scoring and overlay pages (umpire scoring, director console, browser source overlay, walkie-talkie), the banner is suppressed to avoid disrupting live scoring.
6.You may update your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the cookie settings icon on eligible pages, which resets the banner.
7.GV Cricket may use strictly necessary session tokens, browser storage keys, and local data to maintain live match state, PIN-based access, operator controls, and scoring continuity. These are not optional.
8.Third-party analytics and infrastructure providers that operate on GV Cricket may set their own cookies in accordance with their own privacy policies. GV Cricket limits these to providers whose data practices meet reasonable standards.
1.Match location is optional unless you choose to add it for match organization or discovery.
2.If you enable browser GPS permission, GV Cricket may use the approved latitude, longitude, and timezone to set the match location, suggest country or region labels, and support weather or location features.
3.Exact GPS coordinates, if submitted as part of a match location, are stored with the match record on a transient basis and may be visible to anyone with a link to the match page, depending on how the match is configured.
4.Approximate IP-based location may be used solely for technical operations such as time-zone suggestion and is not stored as a permanent personal profile.
5.Do not enter private home addresses, exact school locations, private venue details, or youth-match locations unless you have appropriate permission and understand that the data may be visible to match spectators and linked parties.

Sharing and disclosure
1.GV Cricket does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
2.GV Cricket may disclose data needed to operate the app to database, hosting, infrastructure, real-time communications, analytics, email delivery, geocoding, weather, security, streaming, and image-processing or image-hosting providers. Each provider processes data under the applicable agreement and its own published terms and privacy policy; those policies may permit processing for security, service operation, legal compliance, and other stated provider purposes.
3.Match data you choose to make publicly accessible via shared links, spectator pages, result pages, or overlays is visible to anyone who accesses those links, which may include search engines, social platforms, messaging apps, and other third-party caching services.
4.GV Cricket may disclose data when required by applicable law, court order, regulatory process, legal obligation, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of GV Cricket, users, or third parties.
5.In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, asset transfer, financing, or change of control, GV Cricket may transfer data to the relevant successor entity, subject to equivalent privacy protections.

International data transfers
1.GV Cricket operates globally and may process, store, or transmit data through hosting infrastructure located in countries other than your country of residence.
2.If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with data-transfer restrictions, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to countries that do not provide equivalent levels of data protection under your home jurisdiction's law. GV Cricket takes reasonable steps to protect data during transfer consistent with applicable legal requirements.

Data retention
1.GV Cricket generally retains active match data, image references, and associated metadata while the match exists and is not deleted, plus such additional time as may be needed for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, and backup integrity. The third-party image host separately controls retention of the underlying hosted file under its own systems and policies.
2.Support, privacy, legal, and abuse request records may be retained for a limited period after resolution to support audit, compliance, accountability, and legal defense.
3.Live microphone audio is intended to be processed in real time and is not intentionally recorded or archived by GV Cricket. Limited channel, participant, signaling, connection, security, and error information may remain for the duration required to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service or as retained by the communications provider under its policy.
4.Aggregate, non-identifying statistics derived from match activity are retained indefinitely as product metrics and are not deleted when an individual match or user record is removed.
5.When data is no longer needed for its stated purpose and no legal retention obligation applies, GV Cricket will delete or anonymize it using reasonable technical processes.

Your rights and choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port personal data that GV Cricket holds about you, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, submit a request through the Contact Page (https://gvcricket.com/contact) and include your name, a working email address, the relevant match or request URL, the data you are requesting access to, correction of, or deletion of, and any verification information needed to confirm your identity.
1.GV Cricket may need to verify your identity before processing a request. Verification requirements increase for requests involving exact location data, minors, school records, or safety-sensitive information.
2.Deletion or correction requests may be limited where data is needed for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, dispute handling, backups, logs, or technical integrity.
3.Fulfilling a deletion request may not remove data from third-party caches, search engine indexes, screenshots, social previews, or records outside GV Cricket's control.
4.GV Cricket may decline requests that are fraudulent, abusive, impossible to verify, technically infeasible, or that would harm another person's privacy, safety, or legal rights.
5.If you believe your request was not handled appropriately, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with the applicable data-protection supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.
1.GV Cricket is not directed to children under 13, or below the minimum digital consent age applicable in the user's location.
2.Do not enter the full names, exact school names, home addresses, or personal details of children into public match fields without the required parent, guardian, school, club, league, or venue permission.
3.If a match involves children, youth, schools, academies, or camps, use initials, nicknames, broad location labels, generic team names, no photos, and restricted sharing where required by safeguarding, school, league, club, or local rules.
4.If GV Cricket becomes aware that personal data about a child has been collected without required parental or guardian consent, GV Cricket may delete or restrict that data as quickly as reasonably practicable.

Security
1.GV Cricket uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
2.No app, website, or internet transmission is completely secure. You assume the risk of transmitting data over the internet and storing data in browser storage or sharing match links.
3.If you believe there has been a security incident affecting your match or your data, submit a report through the Contact Page (https://gvcricket.com/contact).

Third-party services and links
GV Cricket uses or links to the providers below for current product functions. A provider receives only the information needed for the feature you request, ordinary network information, or consented analytics information, subject to the provider's own terms, privacy policy, security, retention, and international-transfer practices. Provider availability and vendors may change as the service evolves.
1.Vercel: application hosting, delivery, security, server execution, and optional Vercel Analytics after consent.
2.MongoDB: primary database services for transient match, session, configuration, access, and related application records.
3.ImgBB: storage and delivery of images you choose to upload.
4.EmailJS: delivery of contact, support, accessibility, privacy, and legal form submissions you choose to send.
5.Agora: real-time microphone audio, walkie-talkie channels, participant or device identifiers, connection credentials, presence, and signaling controls when an authorized user enables those features.
6.Google Analytics 4: optional analytics that load only after acceptance through GV Cricket's consent control.
7.OpenStreetMap Nominatim and Open-Meteo: user-initiated geocoding, location labels, and weather information.
8.YouTube and YouTube privacy-enhanced embeds: user-provided live-stream links, video playback, and related network or interaction data when those features are loaded or used.
9.Browsers, device platforms, streaming platforms, browser-source tools, and destinations you choose may separately process information under their own policies. GV Cricket is not responsible for their independent privacy practices.
1.GV Cricket may update this Privacy Policy for product, security, legal, regulatory, provider, or operational reasons and will publish the updated policy through the app.
2.Material changes apply prospectively after reasonable notice through the website or software when notice is reasonably available. Changes required urgently for security, abuse prevention, or law may take effect sooner.
3.Continued use of GV Cricket after a revised Privacy Policy is presented constitutes acceptance where applicable law permits that method of acceptance.
